Q150 ON SALE NOW + POWDERFINGER BUDDY UP WITH MOVEMBER
Q150 ON SALE NOW!
As we mentioned a few weeks ago, we're curating a festival in Brisbane that we're also playing at, alongside Custard, Yves Klein Blue, The Middle East and The Cairos, and tickets are on sale now! This morning, due to a ridiculously high number of people flooding the QTIX website at 9am, the QTIX server slowed down due to the high demand. Things seem to be all straightened out now, so keep persisting! We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
TO GET YOUR Q150 CONCERT TICKET AND PRE-ORDER YOUR DOWNLOAD OF THE NEW POWDERFINGER ALBUM - "GOLDEN RULE" FOR $25 (PLUS HANDLING), CALL 136 246 OR VISIT WWW.QTIX.COM.AU. THIS IS AN ALL AGES EVENT.
FIVE FINGERS. FIVE MO'S. FIVE BUCKS.
We're very excited to reveal that Powderfinger have teamed up with Movember as exclusive music ambassadors! The band are joining the fight against prostate cancer and depression in men, and are so serious about the cause, they are donating $5 from every copy of Golden Rule pre-ordered HERE to Movember!
That's right, you can now purchase your copy of Golden Rule as a Deluxe or standard edition CD or digital download and do your bit to raise funds!
In addition, the band have signed up as a team at movember.com, and from November 1st each band member will be growing and grooming a mo! Each style of Mo is yet to be decided, however we will definitely keep you updated on each mo's progress, and we'll have a poll on this site where you'll be able to vote for your favourite band mo. That is sure to be quite a competition!
Of course, while Movember is going to be a heap of fun, there is a serious side to the festivities. By becoming involved in Movember, Powderfinger hope to encourage other Mo Bros to step up, grow a Mo and help prompt conversation around men's health.
If Mo growing isn't your speciality, or if you're a woman, you can still help to raise funds for The Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and beyondblue - the national depression initiative by pre-ordering Golden Rule and donating at www.movember.com.
So go on, get growing! We are very excited to give you the band's first Movember mo update.

I had no idea that November was awareness for prsatote and testicular cancer for men. I will gladly pass the word. I will ask my father and brothers to get checked and grow their mustaches for the cause.
