In October 2009 Powderfinger headed to Chiang Mai, Thailand, to film a clip for their single "Burn Your Name". The filming took place during the spectacular "Yi Peng" Festival (or Festival Of Lights). The band made the most of the opportunity to let off fireworks...with some near misses! On the eve of Splendour in the Grass 2009, Powderfinger treated Byron Bay locals and festival visitors to an incredibly rare event - an impromptu busking session outside the Great Northern Hotel! The assembled crowd were the first in the world to hear the new material live! Check out this somewhat shaky fan footage recorded!
