Vulture Street 20th Anniversary – Deluxe Edition & Vinyl Re-Issue – Out Now
G’Day Everyone,
July 4th 2023, marked the 20th anniversary of Vulture Street. It was our 5th studio album
and the follow up to Odyssey Number Five. Vulture Street was a return to our Rock n Roll roots, after months and months on the road performing to bigger crowds on bigger stages in bigger rooms all around the world, we were starting to feel the effects that this kind of touring had on the way we were performing. And that raw and invigorating live energy was something we wanted to capture.
It is truly an incredible feeling to be celebrating a record with your fans 20 years on. Even now, we are still left feeling very humbled and amazed by the love so many people have for this record and our music.
So, we are pumped to share some suitably celebratory things with you….here goes
🎧Vulture Street 20 – Deluxe 3LP coloured vinyl
Powderfinger are reissuing Vulture Street remastered on 180 gsm vinyl and making it available for the first time in 20 years. The 3LP Deluxe Vinyl is beautifully crafted and features a 20th Anniversary Emerald highlight. The package features tracks from the long out of print ‘These Days Live’ concert from 2004 and includes three B&W inserts adorned by both Live and Studio photographic imagery from the time:
- Side A/B Original Album on 180gsm Black Vinyl
- Side C/D ‘These Days’- Live in Concert – on 180gsm Solid Violet Vinyl
- Side E/F ‘These Days’ – Live in Concert – on 180gsm Solid Emerald Green Vinyl
🎧Vulture Street 20 – Classic Black Vinyl
The original in classic black, remastered and repressed on 180 gsm vinyl, making it available for the first time since its original limited pressing.
💿Vulture Street 20 – Deluxe 3CD
The 3CD Deluxe package is beautifully crafted and features a 20th Anniversary Emerald highlight. The package features tracks from the long out of print ‘These Days Live’ concert from 2004 alongside a rare acoustic performance from 2003 accompanied by Live and Studio photographic imagery from the time:
- DISC 1 – Original Album
- DISC 2 – ‘These Days’ Powderfinger Live in Concert from 2004
- DISC 3 – Powderfinger Low Key – Rare acoustic performance from 2003
